Mike Pence qualifies for first GOP debate

Former Vice President Mike Pence has qualified for the first Republican presidential primary debate on Aug. 23.

This sets up a potential faceoff with former President Donald Trump.

He is the eighth — and possibly final — candidate to qualify.
